New Normal

Updated: Sep 24, 2020

Dear Gatherers,

This is a time of tremendous uncertainty and it's very normal to have difficulty focusing.

We are in unchartered waters and doing our best to acclimate to a life within the home, with almost no in-person connection with others. Many of you are finding interesting new ways to spend time while others may be overwhelmed with the burden of family and work responsibilities with very little time to yourself.

In a single day there may be joy, frustration, anger, appreciation and impatience. Whatever you are feeling, allow that. What is important during these times is acknowledge what's going on for you and to be compassionate to yourself and to others. We all need to be given a break!

Now, more than ever, it is helpful to take time to go inside yourself and connect with your still, small voice.

Join us every Sunday at The Gathering for a gift to yourself! You will focus on you and breathe, listen, reflect, write and share.

It is important to take time to nourish your soul and not get caught up in the frenzy of social media, news, podcasts and anything else that takes away from your inner contemplation.

At the end of our time together, you will feel calmer, clearer and more connected.

And you will want to come back again!

Hope to see you on Zoom!

I am also leading short meditations on Tuesday mornings to get you grounded for the day. https://www.thegathering-la.com/book-online

In addition, I continue to do private and corporate sessions on Zoom for individuals, groups, families, law firm, companies and organizations. They are particularly helpful during these challenging times. These meditations are a great way to bring your team together and help ease anxiety and increase focus. Let me know if would like to discuss. Email info@thegathering-la.com
